10.6 Arriving to the Customer's Location

This article walks you through the Arrival Actions that must be completed at the customer's location before the customer can test drive the vehicle. Also included are step-by-step instructions on how to complete the Release Waiver Form.


Arrival Action: Changing the Task Status


1. Once you arrive to the customer's location, swipe the action bar at the bottom of the Task Details to the right to change the status to Arrived.

2. Tap the phone icon in the Task Details to initiate your arrival phone call to the customer.



3. You will hear a series of rings and a brief silence while the app calls your mobile device. If you are using an iphone, you will need to tap Accept as shown below.



If you are using an Android, you will need to tap OK and then tap Answer, as shown below.



Arrival Action: Confirm Customer's Drivers License and Complete Nissan Waiver


4. Once you greet the customer in person at the vehicle, confirm that all driving participants are over the minimum driving age and have a valid Driver's License. 

*Note: Contact the dealership regarding their policy on test drives performed by minors.


In the Test Drive Dashboard, tap the button that says Release Waiver to launch the waiver.

*Note: Anyone who takes part in the drive experience MUST sign a Waiver before the drive begins. 




5. Allow the customer to read and sign the Waiver. Fill out all of the remaining fields in the Waiver and tap Finish.



a. This is the Release Waiver. It must be read and signed by the customer before the test drive. 



b. The customer should enter his/her name here.

c. The customer must sign here, indicating that they have read and agree to the release waiver. Use the Clear Signature button to clear and sign again if necessary.



d. Enter today's date.

e. Enter the customer's driver's license number.

f. Enter the state that issued the customer's driver's license.

g. Enter the expiration date as shown on the customer's driver's license.

h. Enter the customer's phone number.



i. Enter the customer's address.

j. Enter the names of any children participating in the test drive.

k. Use your mobile device to capture and upload a clear picture of the front of the customer's driver's license.

l. Use your mobile device to capture and upload a clear picture of the back of the customer's driver's license.

m. Tap Finish when you are completely done filling out the Form.


6. If the pre-registered driver is accompanied by a guest(s), you must add them to the reservation. Back in the Test Drive Dashboard, tap the button that says Add Driver.



7. Fill out all of the fields in the popup and tap on the button that says Add Driver. This will add a new set of forms, including a Waiver that MUST be signed regardless if they are a driver or a passenger. You may add as many additional drivers as needed.



8. Once you have completed all Arrival Actions, you may begin the test drive.
