10.2 Arriving at the Dealership

This article walks you through the Arrival Actions that must be completed at the dealership in order to check out a vehicle for a Sales Test Drive. Also included are step-by-step instructions on how to fill out the Vehicle Checkout Form.


Dealership Arrival Action: Confirm VIN


1. In the Doppler Agent App, go to Task Details and scroll down to the section titled VIN. Verify that the VIN matches the VIN of the vehicle.

2. In Task Details, tap on the link in the section titled Drive Dashboard to access the Vehicle Check-Out Form.



3. You will be redirected to the Test Drive Dashboard. Tap on the button that says Check-Out Form to launch the Vehicle Check-Out Form.



4. Complete all fields of the Vehicle Check-Out Form prior to departing from the Dealership. 


a. Enter only the last 6 digits of the vehicle's VIN.

b. Enter the mileage from the vehicle's odometer.

c. Select the option that is closest to the vehicle's fuel level.





d. - f. Confirm that the Vehicle Registration, Owner's Manual and Monroney are all present in the vehicle. Answer yes or no for each question.




g. Select the option that best describes the overall condition of the vehicle.

h. Use your mobile device to capture and upload a clear picture of the front of the vehicle.

i. Use your mobile device to capture and upload a clear picture of the driver's side of the vehicle.



j. Use your mobile device to capture and upload a clear picture of the passenger's side of the vehicle.

k. Use your mobile device to capture and upload a clear picture of the rear of the vehicle.

l. Answer yes if there is any visible damage to the exterior of the vehicle, none if there is not.

m. Enter a detailed description of any damage that you see to the exterior of the vehicle. If there is none, enter N/A.




n. - q. Use your mobile device to capture and upload clear pictures of each part of the vehicle as described.




r. Check the interior of the vehicle and answer yes if there is any damage or none if there is no damage.

s. Enter in detail any damage that you found on the interior. If there is none, enter N/A.

t. - u. Use your mobile device to capture and upload clear pictures of any damage to the interior of the vehicle.



v. If applicable, use your mobile device to capture and upload a 3rd picture of any damage to the interior of the vehicle.

w. If there are any other issues that require immediate attention, answer yes. If no issues, answer no.

x. If you answered yes to the previous question, describe the issue in detail. If you answered no, enter N/A.



y. Enter the Dealer Representative's Name.

z. The Dealer Representative must sign inside this box. Use the Clear Signature button to clear the box and sign again if necessary.

bb. Sign your name here.

cc. Tap Finish when you have completely filled out the Form.
