50.1 XTime Configuration

The XTime Configuration information below will allow your dealership to interface with the Doppler Platform XTime parsing solution. Using these instructions in parallel with the field values provided by Doppler, will assure a successful setup for your customers' service valet needs.

Enabling Valet Transportation Option

Navigate to:

  1. Configure
  2. Resources
  3. Transportation


Valet Capacity Settings

  1. Enable Valet on the top right
  2. Enable ”Valet” as an option for both Dealer Portal and Consumer Scheduler
  3. Enter ”Valet Email” provided by Doppler team
  4. Enter Valet Opcode if your dealership has one (not mandatory for Doppler)
  5. Save

     
Set Capacity Timeslots

Valet Capacity Settings

  1. Click “Edit By Timeslots”
  2. Doppler will provide you a schedule as defined by your dealership for days and hours service pick-up and dropoff are supported
  3. Enter a capacity of “1” for each timeslot between the hours-of-operation 

     
Enable Vehicles

Supported Makes Settings

  1. Navigate to Configure > Resources > Vehicles
  2. Enable all qualifying vehicles

     
Final Steps

    

When a BDC rep creates a service appointment, they add the transportation type and addresses

    

A note to your customer...

As shown below, you may provide radius information within the transportation step for your customers.  Adding a statement such as: "Pick-up my vehicle is available with X miles of dealership," will help avoid pick-up appointments outside of the chosen radius.
