3.17 Event Dispatch Mobile Platform

The Event Dispatch mobile platform enables an agent to schedule test drives by using a smart device. The guide below illustrates the steps to:

  • create a new appointment
  • edit an existing appointment
  • modify an agent assignment
  • cancel an appointment

Creating a New Appointment


Begin by clicking the green "New Appointment" button.


New Appointment: Location Details
1. Select the Campaign
2. Enter the date and time of the appointment
3. Enter the Customer Address information
4. Click the "Verify Address" button
5. Click "Next" to continue

New Appointment: Vehicle Details
1. Select the Hub for your market
2. Select the desired Vehicle for the test drive
3. Click "Next" to continue or "Previous" to return to the prior step


New Appointment: Customer Details
1. Enter the customer contact information
2. Click "Next" to continue or "Previous" to return to the prior step


New Appointment: Customer Details (continued)
1. If the customer would like to be notified of their appointment by text message to their mobile device, select the box for "Opt-in for SMS"

2. Enter any helpful information for the Drive Agent. This may include details such as a customer's request to review specific features of the vehicle.

3. Enter any information that may help the sales team, such as a customers request for finance information.

4. Select if there will be an additional guest or driver. Enter the contact information as shown below:5. Click "Next" to continue or "Previous" to return to the prior step


New Appointment: Review
1. Review the information entered 
2. Select the appropriate button at the bottom of your screen:
  • Previous:  Return to prior steps to make any changes
  • Confirm:  Continue to the next step
  • Cancel:    Remove the appointment 


New Appointment: Assign Agent
Next, select the "Assign Agent" button


1. Choose the appropriate Agent from the dropdown menu
2. Select "Assign" to complete the New Appointment


Booked Appointment

The appointment is now scheduled  




Editing an existing Appointment

To edit an existing appointment, locate the appointment and click the "View Details" button.




Click the "Edit" button

Modify the existing information following the same process as creating a new appointment.




Modify an Agent Assignment

To modify an agent assignment, locate the appointment and click the "View Details" button.



Click the "Assign Agent" button



1. Choose the desired Agent from the dropdown

2. Click "Assign" to confirm the update


Cancel an Appointment

To cancel an appointment, locate the appointment and click the "View Details" button.




Click the red "Cancel" button



Click the blue "Yes' button to confirm the cancelation
