CRM Alerts Button Deep-links:

We've just added even more actionable buttons to each CRM Alert. These buttons allow logged in users to go straight to the appointment details, tracking links, and forms directly from the CRM Alerts.

Here is an overview of all the supported CRM Alerts:

  • Appointment Created
    • Sent when a new sales or service appointment is created
    • "Manage Appointment" button will take the user right to the Appointment Details screen of that specific appointment where they can assign agents and/or edit the appointment
  • Appointment Updated
    • Sent when a new sales or service appointment is updated
    • "Manage Appointment" button will take the user right to the Appointment Details screen of that specific appointment where they can assign agents and/or edit the appointment
  • Appointment In-Progress
    • Sent when the Agent swipes "Start" in the Doppler Agent App
    • "Track Agent Progress" button will take the user right to a map where they can track the real-time location of the Agent
  • Appointment Completed
    • Sent when the Agent Swipes "Success" in the Doppler Agent App
    • "View Appointment" button will take the user right to the Appointment Details screen of that specific appointment
    • "View Agent Report" button will take the user to the Agent Report associated with that appointment where the user can see the details of the appointment, insights about the experience, and any followup requested by the customer (if the Agent has filled it out)
  • Appointment Canceled
    • Sent when the appointment is canceled
    • "View Appointment" button will take the user right to the Appointment Details screen of that specific appointment

Viewer Role Permission Updates:
The Viewer role in the platform is specifically for users that need to access the Doppler platform, but do not need to create or manage appointments. This role is often used to provide reporting access, but we made a change to the permissions to include access to appointment data as well. This is a read-only role.

Viewers Can:
  • See the Insights tab and data for Campaigns and Hubs they have access to
  • See the Sales and/or Service tab containing calendar and card view of all appointments for Campaigns and Hubs they have access to
  • Access Doppler University, Knowledge Base, and the Doppler Help Desk
Viewers Cannot:
  • Create appointments
  • Edit appointments
  • Assign Agents
  • Cancel appointments

Add Drop-Off Button on Completed Service Pick-up Appointments:
The Add Drop-Off button has been added back into the Appointment Summary for completed service pick-up appointments. This feature is a great time saver for dealerships to book Service Drop-Off appointments using the customer, vehicle, and location details from the original Service Pick-Up appointment. Once clicked it sends the customer address, vehicle details, and contact information to the Appointment Builder to create the Service Drop-Off appointment.

Caching, Performance, and Security Updates:
Here are three updates we've made to the platform that improve overall platform security.

Auto-Logout in Calendar and Card View Single Dispatch Tab Open:
Users who are inactive for 2-hours will receive pop-up message that they will be automatically logged out of the platform due to inactivity. This pop-up will have a countdown timer that will run for 15-minutes. Once the user has been auto-logged out, the users session cache will be wiped and they will need to log back into the platform to continue.

Auto-Logout in Calendar and Card View Multiple Dispatch Tabs Open:
If a Dispatch tab has been inactive for 2-hours (even if the user is active on Dispatch in another browser tab), the user will receive pop-up message that one or more Dispatch browser tabs have been inactive. They will be instructed to close the additional browser tabs and to click "Continue" on the tab they wish to stay active on. If they take no action after 15-min, the user will be auto-logged out and the user's session cache will be wiped as well.

Auto-Logout in the Sales and Service Appointment Builders:
If a user has started to create or edit an appointment, they will have 30-minutes to complete this action before they will receive a pop-up message that they have been inactive and will be auto-logged out if they take no further action which can be as minimal as moving their mouse on the screen. If they take no action after 15-min, the user will be auto-logged out and the user's session cache will be wiped as well.
