3.10 Creating Service Pick-Up Appointments

This article refers to the process of creating new Service Pick-Up Appointments. Step-by-step instructions are included.


Creating Service Pick-Up Appointments


1. In the Doppler Platform, a new Service Pick-Up Appointment can be created from the Service Appointments page. Click on the New Appointment button in the upper right corner of the page.



2. Fill out all fields in each screen of the popup that displays as shown below:


Screen 1



a. a. Select the Dealership 
b. b. Select the Pick-Up option
c. c. Select the Date, Time and TimeZone
d. d. Enter the customer's Address
e.f. Click on the Verify Address button 
f. f. Once the address has been verified, click the Next button to go to the next popup screen



Screen 2




a. a. Verify the correct Dealership was selected. Use the dropdown menu to change the selection if necessary
b. c. Verify that the calendar displays the correct date that was entered in the previous screen
c.c. Verify that the correct timeslot is displayed
d. d. Double check the information inside the Schedule Details
e. e. Check this box if the customer would also like a Service Drop-Off Appointment 
f. f. Click the Previous button if you need to go back to the previous screen
g.g. After you have verified all information and made any changes necessary, click Next to go to the next screen



Screen 3



a. a. Enter the customer's first name
b.b. Enter the customer's last name
c.c. Enter the customer's primary email address
d. d. Enter the customer's mobile phone number
e. e. Check this box if the customer wants to receive text message updates and alerts
f. f. Information may be entered for the Service Valet agent that is related to the appointment. Examples may include gate codes or specific notes where to locate the customer or vehicle.
g. g. Click on the Previous button to go to the previous page
h. h. Once you have filled out each field, click Next to go to the next screen



Screen 4



a. a. Verify all details have been entered correctly. Click the Edit button to make any changes
b.b. Click Confirm to schedule the Appointment



3. You will now see a message in the upper right corner of the screen telling you that you successfully created an Appointment. You will also see the Appointment displayed in the calendar.
