3.11 Creating Service Drop-Off Appointments

This article refers to the process of creating new Service Drop-Off Appointments. Step-by-step instructions are included.


Creating Service Drop-Off Appointments


1. In the Doppler Platform, a new Service Drop-Off Appointment can be created easily from the Service Appointment page. Click on the applicable Pickup appointment from the calendar view and click the "Add Drop-Off" button.



2. Fill out all fields in each screen of the popup that displays as shown below:


Screen 1


a.a. Select the Campaign
b.b. Select the Drop-Off option
c.c. Select the Date, Time and TimeZone
d.d. Enter the customer's Address
e.
e. Click on the Verify Address button
f. f. This check box will automatically fill since this was confirmed on PickUp
g.
g. Once the address has been verified, click the Next button to go to the next popup screen

a. Verify the correct Dealership was selected. Use the dropdown menu to change the selection if necessary
b.b. Verify that the calendar displays the correct date that was entered in the previous screen
c.c. Verify that the correct time slot is displayed
d.d. Double check the information inside the Schedule Details
e.
e. Click the Previous button if you need to go back to the previous screen
f.
f. After you have verified all information and made any changes necessary, click Next to go to the next screen




Screen 3



a. a. Enter the customer's first and last name
b.b. Enter the customer's primary email address
c. c. Enter the customer's mobile phone number
d. d. Check this box if the customer wants to receive text message updates and alerts
e. e. Information may be entered for the Service Valet agent that is related to the appointment. Examples may include gate codes or specific notes where to locate the customer or vehicle.
f. f. Click on the Previous button to go to the previous page. Once you have filled out each field, click Next to go to the next screen

a.a. Type in brand of vehicle

b. Type in model of vehicle
c.
c. Type in year of vehicle
d.
d. If you have the full VIN you can enter that. You can also use the dropdown to select "6-digit VIN" if you only have partial VIN
This is an optional field
e.
e. Type in mileage for vehicle. Do not enter commas
This is an optional field
f.
f. Type in License Plate information. This is helpful for the agent to be able to identify that they are at the right vehicle

g.
g. Type in one exterior color. This is helpful for the agent to be able to identify that they are at the right vehicle
This is an optional field
h.
h. Type in one interior color. This is helpful for the agent to be able to identify that they are at the right vehicle

i.
i. Service Appointment Code is unique to your dealership
This is an optional field
j.
j. Service Appointment Details is where you can leave notes for the agent for when they bring the vehicle back to the customer
k.
k. Click Previous to go back to the previous screen
l.
l. Click Next to advance to the next screen




Screen 5


a. a. Verify all details have been entered correctly. Click the Edit button to make any changes
b. b. Click the Edit button to go back and edit the Appointment 
c. c. Click the Previous button to go back to the previous screen, Confirm to schedule the Appointment, or Cancel button to cancel the Appointment.



3. Once you have confirmed, you will be re-directed back to the Appointments page, where you can view your
